Is that a bleeding cloud (aka a cloud bleeding blood)? [Amazing Photo of the Day]

The following is a photograph of… I have no bloody clue. It looks like it may be some sort of residue from a man-made explosion, such as a flare, but the captions on the photo claim it is from nature. So the best way I can describe the following photo is by calling it a bleeding cloud or, as I so elegantly put it in the title, a cloud bleeding blood. Check it out:
Come to think of it, maybe ‘volcano’ is a better description for the photo.

A search by image or reverse image search on Google shows this to be Mount Etna in Italy.
This service of Google is extremely useful but somewhat hidden. You can find it here.

Well on my screen its not so much a bleeding cloud but a white space followed by a 404.
Same problem here. The last two Amazing Photos of the Day are not available. Why?
I have the same problem.
Just a 404 snowstorm here as well . . . .
(sigh) Do I have to fix all your links??

If you look closely you’ll realise there’s a rocket above all the ‘lava’ so I reckon its a still from the next James Bond movie!
The image should be fixed now. Sorry about that.
Ashraf:
This is a Volcano!
Enough said.
