Snow monkeys enjoy hot tubbing in a hot spring in Japan [Amazing Photo of the Day]

We humans enjoy hitting the hot tub every now and then. (Or maybe more frequently, for some of you entitled folks.) As do monkeys, it seems. The following photograph is of snow monkeys, also known as Japanese macaque, enjoying a nice bath in a hot spring (Jigokudani Hot Spring) in Nagano, Japan. Check it out:
Maybe evolution is real after all.

I used to love these lil’ fellows, but then saw a documentary that shows that only one clan of monkeys get the spot. Other groups are standing nearby freezing to death, trying to get in. They’ll fight for that spot.
They look like some of the guests at Banff Hot Springs after a hard night’s partying!
