The world’s tallest building [Amazing Photo of the Day]

From 1976 to 2007 the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada was known as the world’s tallest building, standing at 553.3 m (1,815 ft). In 2007 the CN Tower was passed by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Coming in at an astonishing 829.84 m (2,723 ft, or more than half a mile), the Burj Khalifa is nothing short of a monster that tests the limits of human ingenuity. Although the follow picture probably doesn’t do it justice, it does give you an idea of how tall this structure is. Check it out:
