[1]Rooting is one of those simplest things which opens up a whole new world of extensibility to any Android device. Rooting your LG Optimus 4X HD will help you to break the ‘shackles’ and to taste the juice of your phone to the maximum extent. Just as with anything tasty, rooting also comes with the bitter truth of voiding your warranty. But you needn’t worry; in most cases, there are work-arounds to re-claim your warranty [2]. Rooting your LG Optimus 4X HD will also make it easier to install custom recoveries such as ClockworkMod on your device.
