If you live, or have lived, in a cold climate with nearby bodies of water, you have probably seen frozen lakes before. It is nothing new for you. If you do not, or have not, lived in a cold climate with nearby bodies of water, you probably have heard but not seen frozen lakes. In either case, my guess is most people have not seen a frozen lake with a huge ass crack in the middle. Like the following:
For those that are curious, the source I grabbed the image from says that is the Baikal Lake in Russia.
After seeing the above image, I’ve come to the decision that the title for this post does not come even close to describing the quality of the image. Fail, Ashraf.
