BlackBerry is selling more than Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5 in France

BlackBerry finally unleashed BlackBerry 10 earlier this year, along with the BlackBerry Z10 and Q10. While they haven’t gained a ton of traction around the world, it’s clear that in France they have. Now according to SFR, which is a French telecom, the Blackberry Q10 is selling better than the Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5.

If you go to SFR’s website, and sort by “best-selling” you’ll see that the BlackBerry Q10 is first followed by the Galaxy S4 and HTC One, while the iPhone 5 is pretty far down on the list. The BlackBerry Q10 has already been out for a few weeks now, so this isn’t solely based on those that wanted it at launch. Additionally, the Z10 is doing well, too. It’s not ahead of the Galaxy S4 or HTC One, but it is ahead of the iPhone 5, Sony Xperia Z and the LG Optimus G.

So it appears that BlackBerry isn’t doing to bad after all, at least in France. While their market share is still pretty small, it’s great to see them getting back in the game so we won’t be hearing iOS vs Android all the time, with the occasional mention of Windows Phone. How many of you have bought or checked out the BlackBerry Q10 or Z10? What do you think about them? Let us know in the comments below.
