With the arrival of Android 4.4 KitKat, you’re probably wondering when and if you’ll be getting a piece of the action. A number of announcements from different companies should help answer that question. However, this isn’t supposed to be a comprehensive list of all the devices currently available.

The newly announced Nexus 5 will of course ship with KitKat already running, while the rest of the Nexus family should be getting the update shortly. The Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 will be updated to 4.4 within the next few weeks, but sadly, Google says the Galaxy Nexus will not be updated. The reason for this is the Galaxy Nexus uses a chip from Texas Instruments, who is no longer actively developing smartphone chips.

On the HTC side, the HTC One Google Play Edition will be receiving the update within the next 15 days, the Developer and unlocked versions will get it within 30, while the remaining versions of the HTC One will be receiving it within 90 days.

For Motorola, all versions of the Moto X, along with the latest Droids (Mini, Ultra and Maxx) will be receiving the update. The Droid Razr HD, Razr Maxx HD and Razr M, however, are listed with “future plan coming soon.” The Droid Bionic, Razr Maxx and Droid 4 are not receiving the update.

Samsung’s Google Play Edition of the Galaxy S4 will also be updated to 4.4, likely within a similar timeframe as the HTC One Google Play Edition.

If you have any devices you’d like to add, feel free to mention them in the comments!
