How to root Samsung Galaxy J7 on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop [Guide]

  1. Download the SuperSU file from here [4].
  2. Download the SuperSU file directly to the computer and move it to the desktop.
  3. Connect the Samsung Galaxy J7 smartphone to the computer with the USB cable.
  4. Transfer that SuperSU file to the root of your devices SD card.
  5. Unplug your device from the computer.
  6. Reboot the Samsung Galaxy J7 in recovery mode.
  7. Tap the Install option from the recovery menu.
  8. Tap the next option for browsing the SD card.
  9. Look for the SuperSU file that you copied to the SD card earlier and upload that file.
  10. Confirm you want to install that file by swiping the confirmation option on the bottom of the screen.
  11. Wait for your device to get flashed with that SuperSU rooting file.
  12. Head back to the main recovery menu and select the reboot system.

Now your device will reboot in the normal mode and you have the custom recovery installed on your device.
