Much like games on other platforms, Windows 8-native games are beginning to evolve into small little ways to pass time while you’re on your device. Untangle is one of those, and it’s one of the better ones. How quickly can you untangle the dots?
Untangle is an incredibly simple concept. You’re given a field of dots, and some of them are connected by lines. Your job sounds simple: uncross all of the lines. However, the more dots you choose to have, the harder it gets. The minimum is 6 balls, and each puzzle there takes a few seconds. Choose to untangle 20 balls, and you might finish sometime in the next three years.
If you’re looking for something that’s a little harder yet, Untangle offers an arcade mode. In this mode, the puzzles start off extremely easy, but quickly move on to puzzles that are quite difficult. You’re allotted a given time for each puzzle, plus a pot of 60 extra seconds to burn through if you go over. You’ll be surprised how quickly you run out of time!
Overall, Untangle is a great little game for Windows 8. It’s definitely one of the more interesting puzzle games on Windows Store, and is free with ads.
