Twitter’s default app for Android is decidedly terrible. It’s slow, designed for either Android 0.1 or iOS, and is overall a terrible experience. TweetLine is different: rather than being designed for iOS and then ported to Android, it’s designed for Android using Google’s new design guidelines.
TweetLine has all of the features you’d expect from a Twitter client. It has notifications for both messages and mentions, pull to refresh, and it even remembers your location in the timeline. That’s a feature that many Twitter clients lack, and it’s good that it was added this early on in development.
There’s still some features TweetLine lacks, including multi-accounts and a tablet interface. However, even as it is, TweetLine is a great app for anybody still holding over on the original, ugly Twitter client.
