Glympse allows friends and family to keep track of each others’ locations. Without even having to sign-up, this app allows you to share your location privately with anyone within seconds. Glympse accomplishes this by sending a link containing your location information feed via SMS, email, Facebook, or Twitter. The recipient then only needs to follow this link, using either their own Glympse app or a local web browser, to see your location. They also have the option of sharing their own location as well. Some might worry about privacy issues , but the app actually allows you to set a time limit on any Glympse.

I tried out Glympse a few weeks and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. I personally got better results from using the web browser than the actual app itself. The key is that the app is very easy to use, which is unlike similar apps in the same genre.
