MotoHeroz is a tremendously fun “physics-based” racing game. The goal of the game is to beat your opponent and gather as many coins and stars as possible. Stars allow you to not only unlock the next racing track, but also upgrade your racing vehicle to one of 8 options. There are currently 30 beautifully designed tracks in MotoHeroz that each create a different racing experience. The boards are also packed with super boost items such as Spring, Speed Boost, Sticky Wheels, JetPack, and Shockwave, which all have their different specialty power to help you win. The developer also adds hidden treasures in every board that you can collect to help beat the game.
The single races themselves require you to race against a ghost vehicle. If anyone has played time trials on Mario Kart, then you know what I am describing. A ghost vehicle is basically an exact recording of someone racing that same course and your goal is to beat them to the finish line. Since ghost vehicles have a lower opacity, they don’t get in your way visually when you are racing near them or when your vehicles overlap. You will find yourself trying to change any little way you raced the course to beat out the ghost vehicle.
Though I didn’t get to test it, MotoHeroz also has a multiplayer feature where you can race your friends. That obviously could be quite fun if you get your friends playing this game too. In general, the graphics and game control are terrific. Try it out!
