Geek Uninstaller
You’ve definitely heard of Revo Uninstaller. It’s the ultimate uninstalling tool: it cleans up not only what the default uninstaller removes, but all the junk left over when the uninstaller finishes. Geek Uninstaller does the same thing: it removes remaining related registry entries and files/folders, except unlike Revo, it has a clean, efficient interface that’s easy to use.
After you uninstall a program, it’ll pop up a similar window to Revo’s, offering to remove remaining folders and files for you. It’s much quicker and easier to use than Revo’s, and for that it’s definitely got my recommendation.

Windows Tweaker
Everyone loves tweaking their copy of Windows to exactly how they like it, but each tweaking tool is different. Some let you tweak this, others let you tweak that. Add Windows Tweaker to your arsenal of tweaking: it’s well-designed, offers tons of tweaks, and supports most versions of Windows available today.
Windows Tweaker lets you tweak many different things; it has System, Explorer, Display, Right-Click, Places, Tasks, Features, Logon, Restrictions, and Maintenance tweaks as well as some various utilities.
One of the coolest things about Windows Tweaker is that it lets you enable Auto Login without using any fancy programs to do it for you — and that’s what’s so great about Windows Tweaker: there’s so many different tweaks that you can’t help but find the one for you.

Metro Task Manager
There are certain parts of Windows 8 that are undeniably better than their Windows 7 counterparts. The new Task Manager is one of those: it’s built for speed, ease of use, and not overwhelming you with information. While it’d be hard to get an exact replica of that on Windows 7, it’s certainly possible to get something a little nicer than the current one, and one intrepid developer has done just that: he’s created a Task Manager that lets you see the status of tasks, end them, and restart Explorer.
If that’s not enough for you, you can hit More Details to be kicked into the full Task Manager, just like Windows 8’s. If you’re looking forward to various improvements like these, try Metro Task Manager now to see if it fits your bill.
