Zime is an incredibly unique program for managing your tasks. This is perfect those who like the idea of virtual tasks, but haven’t quite found the interface that works best. It is also great for those who are looking for a more time-oriented way of viewing the tasks they have to do.
What is it and what does it do
Main Functionality
The app takes a popular concept like tasks, and displays them in a visual way that matches up with your day. It acts like a virtual timeline that will follow you where ever you are.

Discussion
Zime is a brand new app that truly shows quite a bit of potential. It is a combination of a calendar app and a task-management app. The concept is incredibly unique and is completely different from any other similarly-featured apps. The interface is essentially a never ending “roll” that simulates the flow of time. This roll will display any calendars you want it to as well as display your tasks and when you should be doing them. The calendar will automatically fill in tasks where you have free space, but you can very easily control how your flow looks.
Zime has all of the basic functions you would expect from a calendar and task management app. You can schedule events and tasks right within the app and have them automatically sync with your Google Calendar and Google Tasks. You are also able to uses colors to prioritize your tasks so you know which ones are the most importent. You can also set tasks in the future so you can accomplish it at the proper time. Another interesting feature is the debriefing function that will tell you how efficient you were at completing you tasks on time.
That being said, there is still quite a bit wrong with this app. Keep in mind that this app is still in its infancy, so most of these problems will be fixed with future updates. The biggest problem is that it simply has new-app bugs. Just a general in-fluidity and odd bugs that don’t make any sense. This is incredibly normal for an app this young.
Conclusion and download link
Speaking honestly, this app is amazing. While it may be unusable to the impatient, this app shows a huge amount of potential. When the developer finally irons everything out, this app could rise to be the most popular app of its kind. Its unique interface “just makes sense” and will undoubtedly be appealing to the majority of people who use their phone to manage their time.
