Can geeks tell funny jokes? You decide. [Video]

The SXSW Festival in Austin sees many different kinds of people gathering for the event — musicians, entrepreneurs, businessman and a whole lot of geeks. During this year’s SXSW, David Carr of the New York Times decided that it would be the perfect time to try an experiment. What would happen if you gather around a bunch of geeks and ask them to tell jokes? Would they be funny, would they fall flat, do they even have jokes to tell? Considering the fact that this video exists, geeks do indeed have their own nerdy jokes to tell — but are they funny? You tell me.

Some of those were pretty good, especially that SEO expert and social media expert one. The highlight of the video, however, was that trick at the end of the earbuds. I should try that =O

    Thanks Enrique!

All of the geeks and their jokes weren’t bad(especially the baby and banana). But if MacGyver had been a geek who needed a speaker, and all he had was an mp3 player and earbuds, this is something he would have come up with, the geekiest and somehow most startlingly and hysterically, the best.
