Thumbelina is the world’s smallest horse [Amazing Photo of the Day]


Thumbelina is 60 lbs (27 kg) and 17 inches (43.18 cm). She was born due to Paul and Kay Goessling, who breed miniature horses.

    In a newspaper back in the 70’s, I saw a photo of the world’s smallest donkey. He was in an airline flight bag with his head sticking out. One time or another I also saw a picture of a miniature toy poodle puppy once, that fit into a teacup. There just seems to be a fascination with miniature animals, probably because of Gulliver’s Travels. =)
