I’m with the majority, this is very laugh-worthy. Common sense alone should tell anyone that those aren’t VHS tapes. Can you even find VHS tapes anymore? I never see them, not even blanks. This person probably also buys buttermilk by mistake.

    Mr. Boss

[@hardy] You are overreacting. All is said in fun humor, and frankly, in my opinion there is nothing wrong with having a laugh at someone who mistakes books for VHS tapes.

[@etim] Um, how about the receipt? Labels? Weight? The fact that no one releases new movies on VHS anymore? o_O

  3. Vamien McKalin

[@etim] They do look like VHS tapes for sure. Unless this person is not a Hunger Games fan, doesn’t know how the movie industry operates, have no clue that new movies no longer feature on tapes, and the box didn’t say..WARNING: Books inside…then this person made a valid mistake. What are the odds?

[@hardy] Mistakes are made by everyone, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make fun of someone’s mistake now and again.

You can’t compare Ashraf to I, for we are both different persons and like different things.

Hey, if it makes you feel any better, know that I take it just as well as I give it. I’m here all month so I’m ready when you are. :)

Mr McKalin your articles seem to make out that you have a “I’m superior to you attitude of condescension over other people and would never ever make a simple mistake in my life”

Both articles I’ve read in the last five minutes stink and do not have the finely tuned good humour that Mr Boss’s (Ashraf’s) dotTech is famed for!

Well, they DO look like tapes–pretty much the same size, shape and packaging.,,

On the bright side, he won’t have to find a working player for them…

Can use them to improve his reading skills and work on his short attention span issues…

Will have at least one source of entertainment when the power goes out…

…and will maybe think twice before shopping at Walmart again.
