[Mac OS X] Keep track of your schedule and assignments with iStudiez Pro

iStudiez Pro is a tool that allows users to keep track of schedules and assignments; it is absolutely ideal for a college student. This application will sync with with your iPhone or iPad, keeping you up to date no matter where you are. It has a built in calendar that is capable of keeping track of rotating schedules and block-type schedules. For each course you enter, you can also enter important information about your professor such as office hours and phone numbers. In addition, iStudiez Pro will track every single assignment you have to do. You can sort the assignments by course or by date, which is a really terrific way of seeing what you have due.

iStudiez Pro does a nice job of displaying important information directly when you launch the application. It does this in a very unobtrusive manner, which is fantactic for the busy student. It also has a unique feature that allows you to keep track of your GPA. This tool accepts specific weights for assignments and it also will take your past semesters’ GPA and give you an overall GPA.

While iStudiez Pro is a nice tool, it is kind of making a big deal about something that isn’t that special. College students are very accustomed to using planners, and iStudiez Pro is simply that. While iStudiez Pro is a great tool for those who have busy schedules and organization problems, it will never replace your physical materials. This is because you can’t store notes or class syllabi anywhere in the application. This lack of features honestly makes pen and paper much more attractive, especially since you can buy a paper planner for half the price. However, for those that prefer technology, iStudiez Pro is a great option.
