Excellent photo of a busy airport at night allows you to see the movement of planes via lights [Amazing Photo of the Day]

These is a technique in photography called “long exposure” where the photographer allows the photo to be taken for an extended period of time as opposed to just capturing that one moment. Long exposure photography allows for stunning photos, if used properly. I believe the following photograph classified as being used properly.

The following is a photograph of San Francisco Airport at night. Long exposure photography has allowed the photographer to capture the movement of the airplanes, as seen by their lights. It may sound lame on paper but the end result is excellent. Check it out:

    Interesting photo! I guess the illusion is because of the point of veiw where the photo was taken i.e. it wasn’t taken from the side, but more towards the head or tail end of the landing strip.

    It appears to be an optical illusion as well. Those are extremely steep angles of approach and departure.
