There was a time when toolbars were considered an innovation in computing and were regarded as helpful tools by many people. Even to this day some people like having specific toolbars in their browser(s). However, by and large toolbars are now hated by most people due to how developers and companies abused them, forcing toolbars onto people who didn’t want them.

Now, I realize that bundled crapware is the norm in programs nowadays, so it is easy to accidentally install a toolbar. But accidentally install 12?! That just blows my mind. Check it out:

Apparently the person who had this on her computer complained to tech support that her “internet wasn’t working”. Go figure.
