You know I used to think here in the United States we live the good life. Being the richest and most advance country in the world, we must have the best standard of living (ignoring the fact that we are in debt above our eyeballs). However, after seeing many of the awesome stuff that has been built or is being built around the world (particularly in Middle East and Asia-Pacific), I am starting to question my perception.

The following is ‘The Float at Marina Bay’, a floating football (soccer) stadium in Singapore. Check it out:

    They must go through a lot of footballs during a game – every time the ball is kicked out of bounds….

    BTW, its spelled Futbol! Support Manchester United! (And Nottingham Forrest & the Munchkins (Borussia Monchengladbach).

    @BearPup:

    It’s football, and always has been. Check the English documents from the 14th century, if not earlier. To be an MU fan is pretty sad – unless you’re a Mancunian, and Nottingham Forest only has one ‘r’. The Germans would probably also be a tad ticked off at their team name being misspelled. Look it up online, I can’t be arsed to spell that for you as well.

    @Machar: Guess you’re too arsed up to know tongue-in-cheek. You must be a Chelsea supporter. And the majority of people ’round Mundial do spell it Futbol.
