It might be safe to say at this point that Google will indeed by introducing a new, fully-featured games service at Google I/O. A previous leak from the Google Glass companion app revealed lines of code referring to the unannounced service, but now another leak also courtesy of Android Police has shed some light on what all this might look like.

A leaked build of Google Play Services contains many of the references also found in the previous leak, such as achievements, matchmaking, leaderboards, and cloud saves. It also reveals that Google is planning some heavy integration with Google+ and this service. You’ll be able to manage who can send you notifications by using Google+, and your identities in these games will also be managed through the social network.

According to the report, a lot of the features found in the leak don’t work right now, suggesting that Google may have more planned for this new service. We’re only a few days away from the big conference, so expect an official look at Google Play Games sometime this week.

The Google I/O developer conference takes place from May 15-17 in San Francisco.
