    Maybe they should rather say, “Shut it down” instead of “Turn it off” — you know how some people are heheh, it can lead to anotyher set of problems.

    But yes, definitely — one can also add that in many cases a complete shutdown, and giving the system some downtime to literally cool off, if its been on for a long time, hot weather, or a laptop, before powering it on again, can do wonders.

    In many cases, this is better than doing a “restart”, at least in my experience.
