Requirements
This root guide is for the Gionee Elife E3 running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It is specifically for the Gionee Elife E3.
Take note this will void the warranty of your device. Proceed at your own risk.
Before We Begin
You’ll need a micro USB cable.
Create a folder on your desktop called Android-root.
Download and install the USB drivers for your device and install them to your Windows PC.
Download motochopper.zip and extract it to the Android-root folder on your desktop.
Enable USB debugging. This can be done by going to settings, then developer options, then look for USB debugging and check the box to enable it.
How To Root Device
Connect your Elife E3 to your PC using your micro USB cable. When plugged in, you’ll be asked to accept the USB debugging connection. Allow it. After allowing the connection, open the Android-root folder on your desktop. Inside the folder, look for a file called run.bat and start the rooting process. The batch file, when executed will show a variety of options on-screen. Be sure to follow them very carefully.
The rooting process will start and eventually finish. When it does finish, your phone should automatically reboot and restart. Starting after rooting can sometimes take a bit of time, but don’t worry! After that post-root boot has finished, you’ll have root access on your Elife E3!
