To root the Lenovo A850, follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure that the ‘Unknown sources’ option is enabled on your device. It can be found in Menu, Settings, Security.
  2. Connect the Lenovo A850 to your computer via USB.
  3. Copy the Framaroot APK that you downloaded in the previous section to the root folder of your device’s memory.
  4. Disconnect your device from the computer.
  5. Launch File Manager, then tap on the Framaroot APK to install it.
  6. Launch the newly installed Framaroot from the app drawer.
  7. Select ‘Install SuperSU’ from the menu.
  8. Select ‘Boromir’ to begin the rooting process of your device.
  9. Your device has successfully been rooted, congrats!
