Apps for May 6, 2012
FlyRights
FlyRights is an app that does two things. Firstly, it provides quick and easy access to information on your rights when flying in/out of USA. There is a section for the general public, which provides links to pages on TSA’s website; and then there is a section specifically for people of the Sikh faith that provides information directly within the app. Secondly, it allows people to report instances of abuse directly to the TSA/Department of Homeland security easily from within the app.

Phonedeck
Dubbed as a “cloud dashboard for your Android phone”, Phonedeck is an app that allows users to use their Android devices from their computers. With Phonedeck users can perform all the following functions from their computer browsers: read/send SMS; get incoming call notifications with information about the caller (Google Chrome only); view, edit, and update your contacts including syncing with Phonedeck cloud contacts; sync LinkedIn contacts to your contacts; start a phone call without picking up your phone; get statistics on your communication with friends; and find your phone, if lost. All this with a Twitter-like, user friendly interface.
Phonedeck works over WiFi and 3G/4G so you don’t have to be on the same WiFi network to use Phonedeck nor do you have to install any desktop software because Phonedeck works within any modern computer browser.
