About iOS Apps of the Day
iOS has over 600,000 apps. With so many apps out there, app discovery (aka finding new and useful apps) is extremely difficult. With our iOS Apps of the Day initiative, dotTech aims to change that. Everyday we post three apps, allowing our readers to discover new apps, daily. Enjoy! [Subscribe to our iOS section to never miss an article: RSS Feed | E-mail]

RepairPal: Auto Repair Expert is an app that helps you find an auto repair shop as well as many other things. You can find out how much each repair shop costs to repair your vehicle so you could save some money, and especially how reliable the repair shop is too so you won’t get ripped off for the repair job. You also get free emergency roadside assistance to help you out if you don’t have anything like this available. You can even keep track of the repairs done to your vehicle so you wouldn’t forget what was done in the past.

Export My Contacts will help you back up your contacts to a file for safe keeping. You can back up your contacts to a CSV file for Windows or Mac, a CSV for Outlook (Windows or Mac), TSV for Windows or Mac, Excel, or even to a vCard. If you are saving to a vCard, you must have iOS 5.0 and up in order to do this. You will save the file to your device where you can send it via email or you can share it through WiFi or a USB cable. Even though it is easier to export these names, but there isn’t a good explanation as to how to import those contacts back in your device.
