Osprey Aviation Collection – Planes of World War 1 is a good reference tool for the aviation enthusiast especially if it involves airplanes from history. This app includes a lot of airplanes that were flown during World War 1 by the British, French, German and Italians. These planes are detailed, historically accurate and recreated in high resolution which also has a collection of aircraft types, profiles and markings. You can view this in portrait or landscape mode which will give you a better look at each aircraft.

LiveProfile is a messaging app that can be used across multiple smartphones other than the iPhone. This app can be used to chat with others that have LiveProfile on their Blackberry and Android devices so that you can message, send a photo or video, videos, post status updates, customize your profile, set your profile picture, and more. You can also see when messages are sent, delivered, read, and when the other person is typing a message. You won’t be using any sort of text messaging since this is done via the data network. You can even integrate this with Twitter and Facebook which also includes emoticons, offline messaging and push notifications without paying for anything extra.
