Bills & Accounts Manager – Manilla

Manilla will assist you in monitoring your bills and finances by providing automatic reminders for all of your accounts. This app conveniently alerts you through email, text message, or push notifications when a bill is due, so you never miss a payment. Manilla also provides a free document manager where copies of your bills are stored for reading or printing. Manilla currently supports over 3000 providers, including credit card, mortgage, and utility companies. You simply use your online accounts with these providers to link them to Manilla which allows you to monitor them in real-time. This app uses multiple levels of physical security to ensure your accounts are safe, and never stores any personal or secure information on your phone. Manilla also provides the option to use a 4-digit pass-code to access the app for extra security.

I found that Manilla was quite a wonderful app to use. Many of the bill reminder apps out there require manual entry, which defeats the purpose to me. The ability to link your accounts securely in order to monitor them in real-time is an absolutely tremendous feature. The push notifications to alert you to upcoming due dates is just icing on the cake and makes this a can’t miss app. And did I mention that it was free? It is worth mentioning that if you find that one of your accounts is missing, all you do is request it to be added and the developers will get back to you promptly.

Flight+

Flight+ allows you to track every flight at every airport in the world in real-time. The app also provides a flight board from each airport that shows departure and arrival information, including terminal and gate specifics for each flight. There is even a map that tracks each individual flight to and from its destination. Flight+ als0 provides detailed information about every airport, airline, and aircraft (including detailed seat maps) in the world. Push notifications are conveniently available to ensure that you will always be aware of flight status changes. Flight+ also provides syncing options with TripIt accounts, your own phone calendar, and between devices with iCloud. The app even throws in 10-day weather forecasts and traffic information for your traveling to and from the airports.

Flight+ is indeed a powerful air travel app, because it is loaded with features and aims to meet all of your travel needs. Being able to use one app for the majority of your travel needs is always a plus for any traveler. Most reviewers enjoyed using the app, but it is worth noting that some thought it didn’t compare to other well-known travel apps.

Letterbox

Letterbox is a unique addition to the plethora of word games in the App Store. The interface displays a tall structure of cubes, with each cube being a letter of the alphabet. The structure is 7 blocks wide by 7 blocks deep and can go as high as 10 blocks. Letterbox currently has 3 modes named clear, panic, and chill, each of which give you a unique and enjoyable experience. Clear mode challenges the user to clear the structure 100%, with the caveat that each time you make a word, there are 3 letter-cubes dropped onto the structure. Panic mode goes in a different direction, sending letters from the top at continually increasing amount of time, with the goal being to avoid reaching the top of the structure. Chill mode allows you to continually make words until you run out of words to make.

Overall, I was quite impressed with game play and interface of Letterbox. There are also special power bombs and larger cubes that are added in to the game play to challenge you, which only make the game more fun to play. If you like word search games and want a unique challenge, this is definitely an app to try.
