Scareware is a category of software which inform you about a bunch of “errors” or “infections” you have on your computer and then ask you for ten payments of $19.99 to fix the problem. Clearly, in the screenshot above, RegClean Pro is attempting to make use of a scareware-like tactic. Also clearly, RegClean Pro fails at it.

(NOTE: I’m not saying RegClean Pro is scareware software. I’m just providing everyone with a moment in their lives where they can forget all the tensions of life and just laugh at the attempt of some software developer to get you to buy their software.)
