This root guide is for the Karbonn Smart A21 running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is specifically for the Karbonn Smart A21.

Before We Begin
Have a micro USB cable
Download the Karbonn Smart A21 USB drivers and install them to your PC.
Download the rooting package to your PC. Once downloaded, make a folder on your desktop called Android root and extract the root package (called Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v31.zip).
Enable USB debugging mode by going to Settings then Developer Options. Once in Developer Options look for USB Debugging and enable it.
During this process your phone will reboot 3 times.
How To Root Device
Connect your phone to your PC using your micro USB cable. Once connected, go to Android root located on your desktop and look for a file called Runme.bat and execute. Inside the Runme.bat file, some on-screen instructions will appear. Press the 1 key on your keyboard. This will show even more on-screen instructions. Follow them carefully to root your device.
