Every time you search through the web using Google Search, your search items will be stored to your search history page. It’s a separate history page and it will continue to keep a record of your searches regardless of the browser that you’re using.

If you’re using Chrome, you can clear your entire Google Search history by following the steps listed below.

How to clear Google search history in Chrome

• First, you must log in to your browser using your Google account.
• After logging in, go to your Google Search homepage or simply type google.com at the address bar and then press enter.
• Once you’re there, you will apparently see the Google logo with the search bar right under it. There’s also the page footer where you can find various links to Privacy, Terms, Settings, etc.

• So on the footer area, click “Settings” then go to “History”. If you are prompted to enter your Google account password, just do so.
• On the Google Search history page, you’ll be able to see your entire search history. This also includes the pages that you’ve opened via Google Search.

• To clear your entire Google Search history, just click the gear icon at the top-right portion of the page and then select “Remove items”.

• On the dialog box that appears, click the drop-down menu and select the option to remove items from “The beginning of time”.
• Click “Remove” to confirm.
• Wait until you see the confirmation message.

• After which, you can immediately notice that your search history page has been cleared out. You will no longer see any of your previous searches.
