There are dozens and dozens of social networks out there, and different people are on different ones. If you’re trying to get all the posts from all of your friends, Sonet is the app for you. It can grab all of your friend’s posts from well-known networks like Facebook and Twitter, combine them with RSS and text, and add them to less popular networks like Google+ and LinkedIn, and make a total mismash of gooey sociality.
Sonet currently fully supports Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, FourSquare, LinkedIn, and Identi.ca, as well as read-only access to Google+ and Pintrest. You can also add RSS feeds and latest SMSes to the social mix. They’ll all appear in one large mixed feed, either inside the Sonet app or inside the almost identical widget. To the fully supported networks, you can post, comment, like, and more, and it’s overall quite the app.
Sonet is probably the “king” of social apps. There’s more networks supported than any sane person has social network accounts, and you can also update them. It’s probably still not going to become my primary social app, however, as it has an odd design, duplicating your homescreen wallpaper, and it’s overall not very nice. However, if you’re constantly struggling to keep track of your many social accounts, Sonet could be the critical app for keeping you in control.
