E3 game spotlight — Crimson Dragon

Crimson Dragon banner

Crimson Dragon is an on-the-rails shooter, which also happens to be the spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon. Essentially, you fly a dragon around various environments fighting off baddies.

System: Xbox One

If you remember what Starfox 64 was like, then you should have a pretty good idea of what to expect with Crimson Dragon. Although, Crimson Dragon involves dragons (of course) and some pretty far improved visuals over Starfox.

If you’re a hardcore gamer then you’re probably foaming at the mouth right now because of that comparison I just made, but that’s okay. Shake it off, everything will be fine.

The game is going to be controllable with Kinect or a standard gamepad, depending on your particular preference. I don’t really have anything else to say about the game, because not much information was provided. We do know, however that it will be an exclusive title for the Xbox and Xbox 360.

I may not have much else, but I do have a pretty sweet trailer for you, which you can check out below.

Now that you’ve seen Crimson Dragon in action what do you think? Is it a game that you’re excited for, or would you much rather skip it? How do you feel about the fact that it’s exclusive to the Xbox console family?
