To promote the launch of its new flagship phone, the G2, LG held an event in Korea called the “G in the cloud.” Hundreds of balloons were launched into the air, and attached to each one was a voucher for a free phone G2.

Some people carried long random objects to poke at the balloons while everyone rushed towards them. But other members of the crowd might have been a little too eager to land themselves a new phone and decided to use BB guns to shoot down the balloons. 20 people were injured during the event.

LG has apologized to those that were accidentally shot during the event and promises to take care of most of their medical care.
