Let us say you have an expensive desktop computer you want to protect from the elements, including but not limited to your “oops I dropped my coffee” to “that bloody cat just peed on my computer”. So what do you do? Maybe keep the desktop tower in a safe place (such as in a computer cart)? Or, you could, you know, wrap the tower in carpet. Check it out:
I suppose it could also be a fashion statement. Who knows.

Hummm… let’s see carpet + dry air + dust + my cats = Static discharge strong enough to fry everything….
I think I’ll pass on the modern deco =D
Can you say “fried CPU” boys and girls ??…..
Very Good!
A heated scratching post that makes strange whirring noises–a kitty’s best gift ever!
@etim: Oh, you beat me to it! That is EXACTLY what I thought when I saw this — ooooh, a warm scratching post for kitty! Never had a cat pee on my computer, but have a friend whose dog lifted his leg & peed on the CPU standing under the desk. Dog survived; CPU, not so much.
Is this the mainframe for Twitter?
wait…
a Flea in the DVD burner…
hey..
what’s that smell??
This reminds me of the last time I bought eggs at the store. The nice bagger double bagged my eggs “for protection”. I guess that extra .1mm of plastic was supposed to cushion their fall or something. Pretty useless.
