Samsung just made its own version of Gangnam Style for the Galaxy S4 [Video]

If you were lucky (or unlucky) enough to catch Samsung’s Galaxy S4 unveiling, you might think that smartphone launches couldn’t get any weirder. But let me tell you know that you are very, very wrong.

Samsung’s launch party in India for the Galaxy S4 featured one of the strangest things I’ve seen in the tech industry to date — it handily tops BlackBerry’s bizarre music video. Meet Samsung Style: the company’s own rendition of the popular Gangnam Style, designed to promote the Galaxy S4. The lyrics have been swapped out for specs like 441 ppi and 13-megapixel camera. See the craziness for yourself below (note: the video is not safe-ish for work):

I know Samsung is known to spend billions of dollars on marketing, but maybe they could spend it a little better? Although I guess this worked for them; the video for this little number has been making the rounds on the internet.

What do you think of Samsung Style? Let us know in the comments!

[@anoop.ghildiyal] yup. BTW, did somebody watch nelly furtado’s gangnam dance in YT? i like that!

  • I haven’t check video but above image shows an Actor, Ranveer Singh. A new Bollywood sensation. Samsung is surely intelligent becuase they use Bollywood to market their product. These things work in India. There is an adage ‘When in Rome, do as Romans do’ and I belive Samsung seriously follow this.

You’re a little harsh with the NSFW-ish comment. The video itself was rather boring (I didn’t check out the audio).
