Sony has announced that the latest software update for the PS Vita system will be rolling out to the handheld consoles beginning today. Version 3.10 brings with it a number of new features, one in particular that many users have been “waiting patiently” for.

The first is the highly-requested feature of being able to display more than 100 applications on the homescreen. The PS Vita will now be able to display up to 500 applications.

Next, the Content Manager is getting a new “Manage Content on Memory Card” option. You can view memory usage by content type, then delete unneeded content and applications. Another new addition is voice messages, letting you exchange voice messages between PS4 and PS Vita users from the Messages application.

Finally, there’s a new calendar application included in the software update. Sony says it’ll let you plan gaming events with friends, and it’ll also sync with Google calendar.
