There are many apps in the App Store that drop their prices to free everyday. Finding only the best to download is the hard part. I searched through the many freebies and picked out the best apps for you to download. Hand picked and free for a limited time, what could be better!

FEATURED FREEBIE

The featured freebie is “The Best” app from today’s pick. If you had one app to download, this would be it!

UCP – cloud music player is an app perfect for music listeners. Basically, the app accesses you music files from cloud services such as Dropbox, Box.net, Skydrive, and Sugarsync and streams your mp3s to your device. I loved this app when I got it because with my 50GB of Box.net storage, I can keep my music in the cloud without taking up space on my iOS device. Other great feature of this app include: dynamic album coverflow and lyrics feature, audio source tag information support, and multi-touch gestures when editing or creating playlist. UCP is also not only on iOS devices but also available on Android and from your PC! I was trying it out, and it worked great, I was able to listen to my music on my iOS device and sign into my Box.net on my computer’s web browser and access all my music. If you want the Android app though, it will be $1.99. Although Dropbox, Box.net, Sugarsync all have native players via their site/app, UCP brings all these services in one location. I love the concept and functionality which is why UCP – cloud music player is the featured app today! Only complaint? The audio formats supported are very limited. I uploaded a lot of my .wma music not knowing they weren’t supported. The only format supported at this moment is .mp3.
