Discussion
We’ve all been in the annoying situation where we are in the middle of a voice or text conversation when our phone dies. In some situations, this may seem like you are being rude to your contact. Last Message aims to fix this problem by carefully monitoring your battery life. The app will then alert you based on pre-determined settings when your battery is about to die. Once you get the alert, you can then send off one final message to multiple contacts through multiple channels
The supported channels that you can send messages through include Twitter, email, SMS, and Facebook. This means that you should be able to reach anybody you like using any combination of networks. You can set up your own personal away message that will go out to the contacts you select when your battery is running low. This away message is completely customizable and can be set to go out while your battery is at any percentage you see fit. Additionally, this app will provide you battery statistics so you can see the average behavior of your battery over the course of a specific time selection.
To be honest, this app is nearly perfect. There is one minor bug however. Sometimes the app doesn’t display all of the saved contacts. This can be rather inconvenient because there is no may to manually enter any numbers . However, due to the fact that this app is still in it’s first version, I am expecting this bug to be non-existent soon.
Conclusion and download link
Overall, this app is incredibly brilliant and performs almost flawlessly. Once the app is developed a little further, it will undoubtedly take off as it provides features that are truly in demand. They are becoming more in demand because modern phones are getting 4G data speeds, faster processors, and larger memory. The only problem being that battery technology hasn’t really been developing as quickly. As a result, more and more people are finding their phones dying a little prematurely.
