How to root Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace LTE SM-J110F on Android 4.4.4 [Guide]

These are the guidelines to root Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace LTE with the model number SM-J110F running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat Android operating systems.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have installed a custom recovery on the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace LTE before you can think about rooting the smartphone using this guide. The TWRP recovery is the only custom recovery available for this device at the moment, and that’s the guide we have for you to follow. However, you can use any other recovery in the future such as ClockworkMod recovery and then come back and follow this guide for the root access.
You must have the LTE variant of the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace for this guide to work. The LTE variant of the one with the model number SM-J110F only.
We are only recommend you follow this on Android 4.4.4 operating system versions. We cannot tell if it will work on Android 5.0 or 5.1 Lollipop at this stage.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

You are voiding the warranty when you choose to root the Samsung Galaxy J Series. You can unroot the J series and get the warranty working again as long as the devices do not come with Samsung’s Knox security.
Download the Samsung USB Drivers directly to the Windows PC before starting the guide to root the Galaxy J1 Ace smartphone.
You must have the Developer Options turned on and the USB Debugging Mode enabled from inside the Developer Options menu. You can enable the USB Debugging Mode by tapping on the J1’s Menu > Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging Mode.
Those of you who need the Developer Options enabled can do that by tapping on the J1’s Menu > Settings > About Device > Tap the build number seven times.

Download the SuperSU for your J1 Ace from this link directly to the computer.
Connect the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace smartphone to the computer using the USB cable you use for charging the battery.
Transfer the SuperSU file over to the internal storage SD card.
Unplug the J1 Ace from the computer.
Boot your J1 Ace up in the custom recovery mode you installed earlier. You can get that done by holding the Home + Power + Volume Up buttons after you have turned the device off first.
Look for the ‘backup’ option from the custom recovery menu and take the NANDroid backup so you can restore your data. You can download the NANDroid Manager later and restore your partitions easily with that app.
Look for the ‘Install’ option and tap over the same from the main recovery menu.
Follow the instructions to browse your SD card and upload the SuperSU zip file you copied earlier.
Swipe on the bottom of the display and where it says you need to swipe to confirm the installation.
Go back to the main recovery menu and tap on the ‘Reboot System’ option.
Now your Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace will reboot back in normal mode and you will see the SuperSU in your app drawer. Tap on the open and open it up to check if it needs updating. Make sure you keep the SuperSU up to date as it’s the app keeping your device safe.
