Haven’t you always wanted to visit France? I certainly have, and with Fake GPS Location, I can treat myself to a fake vacation wherever I want to. It’s a free and very simple app that lets you spoof your location to anywhere you want in the world, and in conjunction with the official Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare apps, broadcast them to the world.

Fake GPS Location is very easy to set up. Though on first run, it’ll prompt you to enable “Allow mock locations” inside Developer Options, after that, it’s all smooth flying. To set your location, you can do one of three things: the first is to simply pan around the map. The GPS marker will always set itself to wherever the center of your screen is located, so just move around and zoom in to get where you want to go. You can also tap the Search icon to search for a ZIP code or address, and in the menu, enter a set of coordinates.

What if you constantly fake-travel between Berlin and Hamburg? If you want to set a fake-location for easy access, add it to the Favorites menu. Also accessible in the menu, this allows you to easily access numerous locations from the Favorites icon at the bottom.

Faking locations can be fun, especially if it confuses all of your friends, and Fake GPS Location allows you to do just that.
