Get new Google Glass prescription glasses for $225

Google has finally delivered on its promise of prescription glasses with Google Glass. It also appears that Google has chosen to design, make and sell the frames themselves. The frames will be available as a $225 upgrade option for Google Glass Explorers.

There are initially four styles to choose from and Google says they’ve distilled the most popular frames into these four choices: Curve, Thin, Split and Bold. Interested Explorers can already start checking out the frames, but at $225 on top of an already hefty $1500, let’s hope Glass’ consumer launch also brings a price tag that’s easier on the eyes.
