You probably saw this coming, but Psy’s uber popular ‘Gangnam Style’ music has just one billion views on YouTube, making it the first ever video to reach that amount. The video also has the Guinness World Record for most YouTube likes with over six million as of posting.
If you’ve watched the video before, then you’ve contributed to an amazing feat only possible by today’s technology. If you haven’t seen it, where have you been this past year?! But either way, sit back and take a break from the usual lawsuits that we’re accustomed to hearing about and enjoy some honest-to-goodness fun. OPPAN GANGNAM STYLE!

this is a good one, the music is nice, the video is good; however, got too much hype, IMHO.
I suppose it’s about time I gave up on avoiding it and gave in to the dark side. But yes, I have actually ducked exposure this whole time.
I am a true monastic, heh…
Perhaps the world did end yesterday and we just haven’t realized it yet?
Just imagine if there had been a “Call me Gangnam Style Maybe”.
@mukhi: True! But everybody’s having fun with it so why not!
@Eric989: Oh, I’m guessing you guys haven’t seen this yet :) http://youtu.be/iCkYw3cRwLo
Ain’t technology grand? Before the interweb, I was only embarrassed by idiot stunts we Americans pulled; now I can be in fear for the fate of the entire planet!
@Enrique: Yeah, only 950 million more views to go to be number 1.
I wonder what the view count on all of the parodies of Gangnam and Call Me Maybe are?
@Eric989: I know, would be interesting if it was more than the original video! What I wanna know is what could possibly top gangnam style in the video. Maybe bacon pancakes? I hope so :)
