    I’m still waiting for Panda’s e-mail message with the “key” but so far I didn’t get it. :(

    … by the way, the similar kaspersky offer is simply disgusting …

    Still not recieved mine. i know it said a waiting period of 1-3 days but today is my third day. I dont know what to do if it does’nt come by tonight as i registered at about 18:00PM and i think that it’s going to be one of those last minute send out sites.

    Got my key in a little under 48 hours following registration. Thanks.

    @Tech Kid: Ya you don’t want to run them both at the sametime. However, I disagree with Norton being “bad”. Norton has really cleaned up their act post 2009 version and now is a fairly good security suite.

    @Toufique: True.

    @Ashraf: I have not received it too. However, I recall the site mentioned a waiting period of 1-3 days. Today is my third day. It is bit annoying because I get regular reminder for activating the product. I take that trouble because I find Panda OK, despite some negative reviews I have read in some places.

    Hi Ashraf,
    Congrats on 1 year.
    I don’t usually comment but I have been following for about 3 months.
    Anyway I was wondering. I am currently running Norton 360.
    Could I have Norton and this running at the same time.
    Because i know Norton bad but i don’t wanna get rid of it.
    So I just wanted to get some clarification if I could run both at the same time.
    Tech Kid
    P.S just thinking out loud but wont they fight with each other or something if i have them both, I don’t really know

    Has anyone gotten their key yet? I have not.

  • This “light” version is 59 MB! At least the download was quick (47 sec.). I ran Panda on 2 other XP machines, and seemed to work OK but at times really dragged down performance without giving any indication of what it was doing (they were 512MB, 2GHz machines). Norton was worse, I think. It’s enough to drive one to Linux!

    @Albi: I don’t use Panda so I don’t know. Sorry. Try asking in their forums.

    Just one more question. Is possible not to install the firewall during the installation of Panda Internet Security?

    Thank you for the info

    @MUHAMMAD: MashAllah indeed. Thanks =).

    @a simple happy man: Thanks =).

    @Albi: It works on all Windows – not just Windows 7.

    @Shueygal: I fixed the link. Sorry about that.

    @M Coppa: I fixed the link. Sorry about that.

    Panda site still down; unable to contact them thru their sales number. Is this promo dead?

  • Could not be connected to the Panda website. States that resource could not be found. Any suggestions? Thanks

    I just registered with Panda Internet Security offer but am still not clear about this offer. I’m an XP user and the offer says “After submitting your registration, download and install the Windows 7 compatible Internet Security 2010”, so, is this a version only compatible for Windows 7 or only Windows 7 users are eligible for this offer? Any idea?
