Everyone wants their own little robot friend, it has been that way since we were children. Well, that dream is now a possibility, but to make it happen, you’ll need a maximum of $1,350 in the bank. This particular a robot is a lifelike spider called T8, it won’t cause havoc on enemies but it does possess the ability of just moving around and probably scaring your significant other.

The T8 spider is a special little robot, its outer shell is 3D printed, and the limbs hide a complex inner working of network electronics. Furthermore, there are 26 individual servo motors that facilitate the robot’s realistic motions. In addition, there’s this giant Cyclops eye at the center of the head, we like to call it the “all seeing eye of doom.”

To control the T8 Spider, users are required to use the Robugtix™ Controller, which is wireless so the experience should be quite seamless. In addition, batteries are not included with the package, so users would need to get themselves a single 4xAA 4.8V NiMH rechargeable battery pack.

Furthermore, those who are interested in getting their very own spider robot should know there’s a discount. Pre-order now before the September 30th release date and get $150 off the initial price of $1,350.

What’s included:

  • A complete set of high resolution 3D printed parts of the T8
  • T8 microcontroller board pre-loaded with the Bigfoot™ Inverse Kinematics Engine
  • 26 Hitec HS-35HD servo motors
  • Fasteners and miscellaneous mechanical parts
