I had the same problem for a while, until I looked at the upper left hand side of the page, where I found the place to insert email address to get the download link. I used @mailinator by the way, and it worked fine.

I went through the whole procedure, Twitter and all. However, despite repeated attempts, the download file fails to appear anywhere on my system. What kind of joke is this?

  • [@njwood60] OK so my opinion of the converter – not nearly as good as UniPDF which is my gold standard at the moment. I converted a fairly complicated Word doc with tables, headers etc and UniPDF did a brilliant job. iSkysoft’s effort was not useable and would be hard to edit to get it to look like the original. Note that the PDF I used was created in Word originally – so should be able to be rendered in Word by any converter.

  • [@njwood60] Looked at source code of page. Code for verifying a valid email is:

One of my emails has a hypen – so I think it’s out. The other email was at .info and it looks like they are only accepting 2 or 3 characters after the dot.

Have now found an email address that matches their restrictive criteria and have downloaded software

  • can’t get the freebie.

It is not accepting any email address I put in. Not my facebook account email address or any disposable email address. No reason given, just the email highlighted in red.

Missed chance to get Wondershare Pdf Converter Pro 4.0.1 (includes which was given away sometime around 14-Jul.

It converted a 3 page file to a Word document, including pictures, in just a matter of seconds. Unfortunately, however, it seems one needs the pro version for OCR. And since many PDF files are actually scanned images, the value of this program is limited somewhat. But what it does, it does well.

I tried facebook and it didn’t do anything. I tried using opera, firefox and ie and it didn’t work.

Could have used a review of this one. Not something I need, especially, but might be handy if it works well.

[@Raeldin] Yes, I am out too, do not use the ‘social media’ stuff. Why such a requirement anyway? One has nothing to to with the other!

  • Mike

Guys, just keep an account around for offers like these . . . .

Thanks, Ashraf, good to see offers back!

  • Brian

I second that. At least Bits DuJour lets you take a survey instead, if you you don’t do social media.

  • Raeldin

Bummer, I only use one of those and not very often. And I don’t ‘like’ stuff so I am out. I guess it is not important enough to me to bother with.
