The story behind this is the following:
The [truck] driver told Trooper Noah he swerved to avoid the other vehicle and ran off the south side of the interstate. The semi was then driven up a hill and through a guardrail. Young continued eastbound and ramped the U.S. 421 interchange before striking another guardrail, tearing off the truck’s fuel tanks and causing its fuel to ignite.
The driver reportedly suffered minor facial and head injuries in the crash. His seven-year-old son, who was a passenger in the vehicle, suffered only scratches.
Luckily, no one was killed and injuries appear to be minor.
