If you ever thought that Apple’s stock Clock app wasn’t elegant, beautiful or minimalist enough for you, you have to check out Rise. It’s an alarm clock so it doesn’t do anything special outside of waking you up, but it looks absolutely gorgeous doing it.

The app is normally $1.99, but because it’s Apple’s App of the Week, it’s going free for the next seven days. I wasn’t quite sure I was willing to spend the money to buy an alarm clock app for my phone when the stock one works just fine, but for the extremely low price of free, there’s no excuse not to now.
