It’s official ladies and gentlemen, the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger is back for one last hurrah as the T-800 in the Terminator remake slated for 2015. Arnold is 66 years old, and he’s not getting any younger, so it is likely we will only see him in the first film and not the entire trilogy.
According to a report from the Mirror, director of Games of Thrones and Thor: The Dark World, Alan Taylor, is the man behind the new Terminator trilogy. Seeing as how great Game of Thrones is, and with Thor: The Dark World looking as promising as ever, fans should be optimistic for the Terminator reboot. Then again, as long as Arnie plays the role of the T-800, nothing can go wrong.
Sources close to the situation says Arnold is fantastic in the role of the Terminator, and that he would want to see the franchise go out on a bang. You should prepare yourself for explosions, witty one-liners from the man himself, machines being ripped apart, and 3D. Hey, 3D is pretty lame, but sometimes the effects are tantalizing to the eyes.
When it comes down to the plot, we have no idea what the hell is going on. However, it matters not, because Arnold Schwarzenegger has returned to the role he practically created out of thin air. Let’s hope he doesn’t return as a CGI character similar to Terminator Salvation, that would be a disappointment.
